When the clan was started, we went with the name "Department of Defense" because all of our original members worked for or with the Department of Defense in some way. We started out playing in Battlefield 1942 and have had a presence in competitive leagues in Battlefield Vietnam, Battlefield 2, Battlefield 2142, and now we are looking forward to Bad Company 2.

During the Battlefield 2 days we we usually a top team in CAL and TWL leagues making the playoffs multiple times and can hold our own against any team you threw at us. After BF2 was destroyed by EA and the leagues died out many of us took a break from the Battlefield series while others started playing 2142.

Our 2142 days didnt last as long as previous Battlefield games but we still had a showing on TWL and had one of the most popular servers running at the time. We also added alot of new faces during 2142 from Metalus Gravis and other pickups from our server.

As of now we are looking forward to Bad Company 2 which is the latest installment from DICE/EA and we cant wait for it to go live. We will have another server and join most of the competition leagues out there so be ready to look at your spawn screen over and over.
