who else here is has linux running on their computer?
Its pretty cool, all of you uber smart techno geeks should start running this as a secondary OS and see if we can get things running all smooth and stuff...yeah. its cool, its different, I like it.

    I know, I'm late...whatever. Its a fun little OS. I'm running Kubuntu version 7.10
Installing programs, etc is a bit different since it uses command line prompts to do a lot of tasks, but you get used to it real quick.

Kubuntu isn't real linux =P, thats a windows knock off, if everyone used it, it would get hacked to hell and back. However it is slick for what it is. You can even boot that off a CD. I used to have it, it used to be called Linux Auditor or something, had all the hack tools, and network tools and shit and it was all on one CD. It's called something else but it's still around, and nice to use to boot up to and play with without actually having to install anything.

yeah now its KDE...which is kubuntu... It started on the cd and then I installed it as a bootable on the 40GB maxtor I pulled out of the Dell last night.
I'll play with it for a bit, see how I like it, then maybe reformat it and try the gnome system out too...ya never know.
