I just recently purchased some Turtle Beach headphones that were comfortable, had a mic that is pretty clear, and sounded excellent.

Problem is, they were likely made with the cheapest possible materials, and a piece of plastic broke on the earphone, resulting in me duct taping the fuckers.

Basically, I'd like some suggestions from people about good headphones that are durable beyond 3 months of use.

If you could give me some suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated.

Disclaimer, I can be pretty picky, so, they must:

    1. Cup my entire ear, not rest against them. I hate headphones that press on your ear

    2. Microphone is clear.

    3. Sound quality is not compromised.  (I bought some microsoft headphones to replace them, but they sound like ass.

Also, it would be nice if the microphone can be moved around, and a bonus if it is removable.

    Thanks.

The microphone boom does not swing out of your face like 99.99% of headsets. You have to actually unplug the mic from the headset. This is the only thing that kept me from buying them. I'd like to eat without dipping my microphone in salsa.

Error, I've been using the same set of headphonse since BFV.  My version has the 5.1 sound USB device which they got rid of.  They are no longer avalible so you can get the upgraded version if you wish, Tritton AX360 True 5.1 Gaming Headphones.

The above 2 links are of the same thing but one has better pics for you to look at.  These headphones feel good and you can wear them a long time.  The 5.1 sound is great.  My wife complains that I can't hear her when I have them on...DUH!!  They have 4 volume adjustment on the wire along with mute and volume adjust on the connector box(I've never used that one after I set it up).

    Good luck in your hunt.

Actually, the whole thing is flexible so you can bend it out of the way quite nicely. But I usually opt to remove it unless i'm on vent.  Its a pretty simple process, even you could handle it!
