Anyone using one of these drives?

What sort of increase in performance could you expect from upgrading from Western Digital Caviar SE16 640GB SATA2 7200RPM 16MB Hard Drive

    i5 2500k @ 4.8ghz | 16GB DDR3 | P8P67 Deluxe | GTX 580 | HX850W | Vertex 3 SSD

Games not a whole lot. Windows and boot times alot. Intel is the only way to go. But honestly laptops are the only thing I would put new in.

yeah intel is the only way to go, outferforms any of the other SSDs on the market by a wide margin

not really gonna change much for gaming though, only if you're doing like video editing, or uncompressed audio editing, where you're swapping huge chunks of files back and forth pretty often. For gaming, fuckit, once it's loaded into RAM then it's a non issue anyways, and with DX9 mode a map laods in under 5 seconds. (when are they gonna fix the dx10 and dx11 paths?)
