cool, like their mobile notebook ones for the position of the buttons, i still think their G9x is the most superior mouse on the market, can't do without dedicated side mouse buttons, 5700 dpi, and the nice gear mouse wheel i can't live without. |

Can you push the mouse wheel side to side? How easy is it to use the two thumb buttons? Do you hit the wrong one sometimes, they look pretty close together. |

yeah, it has mouse wheel nudge, and the side buttons are perfect, i can't go back to anything else. and it's far superior to any razor product imo because of the mouse wheel nudge. imo you don't ever wanna take your two fingers OFF of the 2 main mouse clicker buttons (mouse 1 and mouse 2) for any reason. but you can still nudge without losing that control. to click the bottons on the g300, you'd have to sacrifice even for a moment your control on mouse 1 and/or mouse 2 |

Slick you suck, The Razer Mamba is by far the best mouse that I have used and yeah I used the G9. I am not impressed with logitech lately 2 of the 3 products I got from them failed within 6 months the headset the g35 for me and the mouse started creaking and shit and was horibbly uncomfortable. In my opinion the Razer Mamba is far superior to any Logitech mouse. |

razer is for homos, homo, g5 is superior to all, g500 is a close second, g9 was made for 13 year old girls hands, dreams destroyed... o/ |

Razer make cheap products that break. This is the overall consensus I get from reading comments and reviews online. People love the G5 because its sturdy and works well. G500 is slightly cheaper construction with more buttons. G9 people love the fly wheel mode, but it's small. I think I'll stick with my G5, I just wish it had more thumb buttons. |

Picked up a G9X today. Pretty sweet! The software takes some getting used to but I think I finally have it setup with all my button assignments for the various apps and games I use. The G9X uses a different version of Logitech Setpoint unfortunately. The G5 used the latest version which was perfect with the most recent update. I've got the weight setup nice and balanced too with 3 x 4g weights and the larger smoother grip. Not sure I would use the freewheel middle mouse button, i prefer the geared version for gaming and the web. The increase in dpi is taking some getting use to. I've always kept my dpi at around 1800, but I think it's time I trained my hands to work with something higher, considering this mouse goes up to 5700. |

welcome to the ballers club erikshun i have nothing against razor, but mouse wheel nudge i can't ever live without. left nudge is always primary weapon, right nudge is usually gadget. F is pistol. and sometimes, B for the ammo hub/medic box or whatever, but i can usually scroll for that. i can't stand not having my primary/secondary weapons on demand as mouse wheel nudge would have it. no matter what your'e doing, reloading a pistol, repairing, throwing a hub, bla bla bla, you see an enemy around the corner and you don't even have to think, just nudge click, it's super quick. also erikson, i reccomend setting the resolution as high as your games will permit, then turning the in-game sensitivity down to like 0.01 or something, this results in the same "feel" as an 1800dpi mouse or whathaveyou, you just have much more control over zoning in on headshots etc. also i've had 3 G5's, and yes i have smaller hands, but i've always thought smaller is better, claw grip dominates full hand grip. much more control, less total muscle movements required for the same outcome ergo faster reactions. |

Error has been bragging about that fucking mouse since the first day I joined the clan. He's like the old man at the deli who refuses to evolve with the rest of the world. My settings left nudge = throw grenade right nudge = map or fire mode or grenade mode thumb button 1 = melee (this is the best reason to get a thumb button mouse) thumb button 2 = push to talk vent I'll try that DPI trick. So far I love it, I can definitely feel an increase in precision over the G5. The fit of the mouse is much better as well.

yeah, i'm a big fan of the comfort grip, the other one is ech. and my mouse bindings i learned from global and cheese back in 2142. nudge for rockets, nudge for rez. especially in a clan battle, you never wanna be mouse scrolling around for finding the rez. to me gun, and rez, and 2 very primary functions, always want to have them at the ready. i keep melee mouse4, and grnage mouse5, and capslock = push to talk. also for matches, we're all gonna need hands=free modes without push to talk. so everyone feel free to audiocheck out with your fellow ventmates a hands free setting that doesn't suck. takes a few minutes, but is worth it in a match. then toggle back to push to talk for normal mode. that is if you have the ability to keep the "OH FUCK I DIED" grunts to yourself during matchplay, cause that psychologically fucks up eveyone else just hearing that. communicate that you need helpif you have to, that's it. |

I would have bought 500 g5s if I would have known they were gonna stop selling them. G500 is pretty sweet tho. And yes the g9 or g9x or whatever it is is made for people with crippled midget hands.
Oh and for your button layout eriksson, maybe its just me but I get super annoyed using a push to talk on my mouse. Its really hard for me to play and talk like that, if you havent tried it before I would suggest p2t on your keyboard. |

Yeah I had to move the push to talk back to my left alt on my keyboard, couldn't handle the mouse movement. |

i just got an email from logitech, with a discount code for 50% off 1 item until september 14th. i can snag a g500 for 34.99 total, including shipping. does it not have a button on the right side of the mouse? that may be a deal breaker for me. |
